Dr. Sarah Soles completed her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and has been practicing in British Columbia since 2017. During her internship at CCNM, she worked extensively with patients on the adjunctive cancer care specialty shift. It was during this time that she learned the immense value of combining naturopathic approaches with conventional cancer treatments. Dr. Soles went on to complete a 2-year residency in naturopathic cancer care at the Integrated Health Clinic and subsequently became a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). She continues to help patients in all stages of their cancer journey – from screening and prevention to active treatment or maintaining a remission.
Dr. Soles also has a special interest in seniors' health and women’s health. She uses bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and non-pharmaceutical interventions to help women manage menopause and hormone imbalances. She also has experience managing chronic diseases associated with aging, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease.
As an evidence-based practitioner, Dr. Soles uses research and laboratory testing to guide her individualized care plans. She is the research director for the Knowledge in Naturopathic Oncology Website and a contributing author to the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A Desktop Guide to Integrative Cancer Care.
